Best mod kit I have used to date and I am 85 and done my share of these mods. Why you might ask? The drill bit for the vent if your careful makes a perfect size hole and the kit comes with a nice rubber seal for the vent as well.The spout cap also is provided with a rubber seal.Here is a tip to make installation easier. Use a 5/16" drill lubed with a light grease (to drill a starter hole for the provided bit) before use. Lubricate the provided bit and shavings falling into the tank (if your careful) will be a non issue. Make sure the vent is installed above the full fuel level on your gas can. That's it. You now have installed the best conversion kit for the buck I have used to date.

I recently installed these replacement gas can spouts on my three "safety" cans, and what a difference! I like the extra length on these nozzles over other brands which makes it easy to fill up my lawn and garden equipment without awkward positioning. Installation was simple and included a drill bit for the vent which was exactly the right size. The screw-on caps have distinct threads that create a solid seal.I can finally control the flow without gasoline going everywhere or not coming out fast enough like with those ridiculous safety spouts. The plastic vent tabs seem a bit flimsy and I'm concerned they might break after extended use but so far so good.

I got these because I needed a couple of But now looking at everything that it comes with, I replaced a lot of other parts that I didn't really have expect to replace, they were worn and old. These are very nice. They're well made, they're very flexible, and they actually fit as good or better than the ones that it came with. Gas cans so definitely these are a good quality. They're well made and well-designed, and I highly recommend them. These are very nice. They should last a long time. No need to buy brand new cans for just the lids and caps funnels, spouts excellent buy great price
