Solid lid for VP cans. Definitely noticeable that they are not VP brand but who cares it stores fluid without issue. Screwed on fine so for the price and speed of shipping its worth it

The rubber seals are different than original and like to fall out. Doesn’t leak when screwed on at least.

I got this so I could have a cap with no hose in it for better storage. This one seals great and fits my VP jugs perfect. I did add some fuel safe teflon tape to the red plug as soon as I got it out of habit so I can't report whether it really needed it or not but it never hurts.

Don't buy this for conventional fuel jugs or jerry cans but for VP racing and JEGS fuel jugs this is a perfect fit. The red insert is easy to remove and standard threaded spouts fit perfectly. If you've lost your cap or your jug simply didn't come with one this is a great option to seal your fuel jug.

Original cap does not actually have threads in the top of it so that you can change out the hose spout. FYI, I upgraded the hose with one of the curved supports and that keeps the hose from sagging and I’m sure it will last much longer but this.
