GAS cap replacement fit 2013 Honda CRV. It seems to be working fine for us. The old one had a plastic strap that broke after 10 years so this was just what we needed, decided better to replace the whole thing since it was already 10 years old. Seals well

Cap fits perfectly onto my 2012 Honda Civic LX. It did throw up the 'tighten fuel cap' message, but it went away on its own after driving my car around for a couple days.The only reason I docked a star is because the nub at the end of the cord on the cap is a little too small and doesn't fit the holes on the gas hatch snugly. It's so loose it just kinda falls out. You may have to do some DIY-ing and find some way to make the nub part a bit larger so that it won't fall out of the hole so easily.UPDATE: Yea, this cap is pretty much garbage. The 'tighten fuel cap' message that I got went away after a couple days, but then a 'check emission system' message popped up. I figured that would go away after a few more days, but it didn't, even after 2 weeks and many drives. In that time I manually reset the codes with an OBDII reader, and the code just kept coming back.Just to make sure it was the gap and not my actual car, I put my old gas cap back on, and the message went away within days. Then I put this gas cap back on, and boom, the message came back on.So long story short, this cap is garbage. Probably isn't sealing correctly or something. Stay away.

I bought this to replace a cap with a broken tether in my Acura TSX. I got the "Tighten gas cap" warnings that some others mentioned. When I resolved this with using the old gas cap again, this warning went away, but then was replaced with the annoying "Check Emission System" warning which took several days and about 300 mi of driving for it to go away on its own. Since I was primarily wanting to get a new tether and haven't liked the plastic universal tethers that cost just as much but are less durable and come apart easily, I examined the tether's ring around the gas cap and realized it was just slipped over the smaller end of the gas cap. It's a bit like working a tight tire off of a bicycle wheel, but with a couple of small screw drivers I was able to pry it off the gas cap just like removing a bicycle wheel. I similarly removed the old ring with the broken tether from the old gas cap. This was more difficult because of the aged, hardened rubber, but it did pry off. Slipped the new tether ring over the old gas cap, and now I have a nice tether on the old cap for the same price as a funky plastic tether.
