If i was reviewing just the valve I would give it 5 stars, it worked great. The supplied hose on the other hand is another story. They cram it in a small plastic bag and it was all kinked. I tried everything I could think of to get the kinks out with no luck. I ended up throwing it out an purchasing a new one from a home improvement store

I’ve been using these shaker siphons for years, they work great and are easy to use. I like to have spares plus have them for different liquids such as chlorine, water, and fuel. This particular unit was a bit of a disappointment as it wasn’t assembled and it uses a hose clamp where the others I have used were pressed on the hose tightly without the use of a clamp. The clamp could potentially prevent the hose from going into a container. On top of that, the hose included with this one came severely kinked and when I tested this with a bucket of water I could not get the hose to flow well due to the constant kinking. It still gets a couple of stars since it does work.
