Worked well with two regular 1.5 alkaline D size batteries. Not extremely fast but I am using it to remove fuel from lawn equipment before putting it away of off season use. I took off one star as it would be better if the electric motor was activated by squeezing the pump handle and would allow small quick pulses of the pump to get the exact intended level without overflowing. The handle is nice compared to just a loose tube though.

I didn't have an immediate need for this, but then I had to change out the innards of a toilet water tank. This did a great job of getting all the water out of the tank quickly and easily. For light-duty transfers, this is a very reasonably-priced unit that functions well. Having this around is like the definition of the age-old "better to need it and have it..." adage, it's very essential when needed. For what I need, it works great.

Pretty cheap and batteries were hot when I used it. Also takes 6 AA batteries. I got another similar product that pumps quieter, faster, uses 3aa batteries, is one piece, and stops automatically instead of just blocking the pump with a hand valve. It was just 29 bucks, I’d recommend a slightly more expensive product.

Works great. Pump was pretty quick. Not sure on how long batteries will last but I did try rechargeable batteries at first. Either my batteries sucked or this thing killed them almost immediately. Plus the 1.2 volts on rechargeable was a little weak I am guessing. I really like how you can use aa batteries instead of bigger ones. I stuck lithium batteries in and it sucked a 5 gallon jug dry fast with 0 issues.

So far, this pump has been working well for emptying my fish tank and transferring water. It moves liquid efficiently at a decent rate, and I like that it's lightweight and easy to handle. I plan to test it further when I change my antifreeze using saved 2-gallon DEF bottles, so we’ll see if it can handle that task.One thing I don’t love is the power source—it runs on two D batteries or the included adapters. It would have been much better if they had just designed it with 18650s or a single 20700 battery instead. Still, overall, it’s a solid little pump that gets the job done.

I am buying a second one for myself and buying one for everyone in the family for christmas. This pump is awesome and almost eliminates spilling! The price is awesome. It pumps gas with no issues. It even worked pumping gas to one of my cars with no extra attachments!!! I love this thing!

Might seem like a small detail, but I have to give props to the option of using 2 D’s or 6 AA’s. This gets 5 stars for allowing us to get diesel in our oil tank without listing the gas can over our heads!! I’m so happy to have this on hand. It’s so simple but absolutely genius.
