Either the bracket or the container is the wrong size. Fit is too tight.

Purchased this to replace the one that came with the Rough county rotopax. The one it replaced was plastic and broke the first time I used it. The one is made of Aluminum and well made. Very happy with my purchase.

I have quite a number of gas, diesel, and storage containers with the center slotted mounting hole. I've mounted them on plastic boxes, ladders, walls, and roof racks. The multiple hole configuration makes them quite versatile. This comes with hardware to assemble and mount this to something thin. Depending upon what you're mounting to, it might be necessary to buy longer carriage bolts for your application. It's a good buy for this kind of mount.
