It worked as needed. A little bit of work attacking it.

I've been using this regulator for quite a while now. It's very adjustable. You can get any pressure/flow you want from 0 to the full 20psi. That was critical for my application and it's been working great.

Hasta el momento me ha ahorrado en la compra de reguladores que anteriormente cambiaba dos o tres veces al año.

So a squirrel apparently chewed through the rubber hose on our gas grill. Like, cut clear into two pieces. Why, I know not, but I needed a replacement. Another rubber hose would have been cheaper, but as apparently rubber hoses are a delicacy I opted to get something a little more difficult to eat. This was cheaper than the local (big chain) options. Installation is as simple as screwing on connectors, which, since I unscrewed the chewed hose, was not difficult at all.The regulator knob is something my existing hose did not have. It takes a little adjustment at first to get the gas flow just right, but once that's done it's set and forget. So far no one has chewed through this, so we can return to our usual tenuous balance between suburbanite mankind and nature.

Bought this to replace a fixed pressure regulator on my new fire table and it works like a champ! I use it to finely adjust the flame height on the table to about 10-12", which I cannot do with the knob on the table. Just what I needed!

I used this product to convert a standard grill with side smoker to a sort of dual fuel set up. Works well for intended purpose, but under very low flame setting, sometimes the regulator will kick off. I always have the best luck with longer cook type items UNLESS your cooking temp is under 250/275'sh (will vary from grill to grill of course). For instance, cooking a brisket for 9 - 12 hours under very low flame. You'll have to monitor a little closely under these conditions or it may go out. All BBQ'ing should be closely monitored under propane use, so I only mention this one exception to the product use for those use to the "turn it on and leave it" scenarios under very low flame usage. For all other general purposes, this is an excellent product. This is a good result in some ways, as it's a safety feature so if it goes out, propane doesn't continue to leech out. Do not play with Venturi tube air mixture unless you are familiar with the engineering aspects of air mixture to propane (propane expands 270 times from liquid to atmosphere or open air) If you are buying it for the same purpose as I did, buy a prefab fuel rail kit, for the type of grill you are converting. Since your grill, wok, fish fry burner, etc will usually have adjustment air mixtures Venturi type adjustments - the engineering aspect should be safer. On a full tank when you adjust the mixture it should render a true blue (hottest) flame. A more orange flame would usually indicate too much air, or a low fuel tank. For a beginner or a novice this is a pretty simple rule. If your not sure, ask for help...

This thing is totally awesome and what I should have had years ago! The longer braided hose lets me move my barbecue around and have my oversized propane tank behind the grill. Whats even better is the adjustable output. I can crank that baby up to turn my 4 burner barbecue into a blow torch! I shit you not, all of the flames can turned up to above the grilles, not that you need that but on windy days it's nice not to have pathetic flames being blown out, plus testosterone loves the ability to crank her up too much just because I can ;)
