We bought this to make our propane fire pit warmer and larger. It fit the bill perfectly. Gives off more heat than we had with a smaller ring. We replaced the lava rocks with blue glass to make it look nicer. We had many compliments when people came to visit.

Four stars because it obviously isn't "the best", but not a bad deal for the price, if it ever rusts out cheap enough to replace. Of course with a cover over the pit, rusting will be a much slower process.

Upgraded my gas fire pit which was underperforming. This fire ring was a great choice and I now have plenty of heat. My installer commented on what a quality piece it was.

Our old ring was rusted out, even here in dry Arizona. Reason? There was SAND put by original installers into our fire pit. That's a big no-no as we learned because and holds moisture and doesn't drain well, this retaining water and creating an environment for rust and rot. We dig out all the sand, replaced it with small rock and installed this new stainless steel firering. Perfect solution

This 12 inch ring did everything it supposed too. I'm very happy with the results and now wanting to build a larger one for my back yard firepit. The pictures don't do justice and the regulator is turned way down so the flames can be much higher than pictured.
