It is a hose that meets factory specs. Easy to install. Connectors are still made of plastic, so it isn't any improvement over stock. Need it in an emergency and dealing with crazy local parts store prices? Buy the same brand and part number locally and use it immediately. Order this one at the same time. Seems okay for a hose

Hose leaked at connection to thermostat on installation Got replacement, now hose leaks at connection to expansion tank after one year. Very poor quality O rings inside plastic clip-on ends. Whatever happened to "Gates" name, used to be good parts.
