Worked well and even had the INA manufacturing label on it. It's an OEM tensioner for a cheap price.

Be sure to use the 16mm nut on the tensioner to move the pulley, don't use a pry bar.Also note that there are two holes that you can line up and then put a nail or allen wrench through to keep the tensioner "open". This lets you position the belt on the pulleys with both hands.

this part is the lower tensioner on my 2000 BMW 323i not the top one so be aware. but overall its a good part.

It is actually an A/C belt tensioner. However, the brand stamped on the tensioner was INA, so the part was much higher quality than expected!
