Was identical to my factory Ford part, easy to replace and fit great, price was better than buying a Ford part, workmanship was good as well.

The bearing wasn't pressed in far enough, the pulley backside locked up against the front cover when I installed it. I had to take it back off and press the bearing in another 1/16" to get it to clear the timing chain cover. Due to the first install and it getting locked up against the timing chain cover, it is now slightly our of square. It ever so lightly taps the timing chain cover once per revolution. It's not bad enough to reject the pulley but very disappointing from Gates. I just need to press it another 50 thousandths or so to clear completely. I've been using their parts for 40 years or so and have NEVER had even the slightest of problems.Other than that, it now fits as well as the original and I expect to get a long and uneventful service life from not only this pully, but the rest of the Gates parts I just put on the front of my engine and radiator.

2000 model F350 diesel dually with 7.3. I used it to replace the upper idler pulley. My original had 200k miles and some play in the bearing. This one fit perfect and worked smooth. Just got back from 3k miles trip, and I am happy. .

Perfect replacement. The old one (18 years) was dried out and would eventually fail. I noticed it would not spin freely when I had the belt off to replace the alternator. I checked the tensioner set too and both pulleys on there were dry and not free wheeling. Better to replace early than non the side of the road stranded. The single belt runs the water pump so it is not optional.

Works great on my 02 7.3. Seems just as good as oem. My oem had some grooves and was marking up my belt

seems to be a solid pulley except when your looking at it, it dances around a bit... time will tell.

More time than any when it has come to my 2003 F250 7.3 when I have needed a part and have found Gates I have been please with the quality and the overall perform of their products.Pulley's, Belts, Hoses really you can't go wrong.
