Set up a new pegboard for our climbing and camping gear, and this set of hooks provided an easy one-stop shop for most of my needs. The hooks are metal and come in a black finish. They seem well made and fit into the holes without any issue. The wide variety allowed me to hang most anything, although I would’ve liked 1-2 8-inch hooks for bigger items. Overall good value for the price.

Fits my art pegboard perfectly, small enough to arrange fabric and paper scissors but strong enough to hold up my dust vacuum and drill as well as all the attachments. Makes working on projects much easier.

The only reason I gave this item four stars was because of the price. No question about it, these pegs are high quality and the coating sure protects the item being hung. Unfortunately, I did not look close enough to see that the protective coating is only on four, out of the 24 hooks. The rest are painted black (possibly Black anodized) but they do not have that protective rubber-type coating. OK, the price... had the rubber-type coating been on all the hooks, the price would have been fine, but it seems a bit on the high side to have bare steel hooks for 75 cents each.

It took me a minute to figure out how to install these hooks. They have a little kink in the bracket that helps to lock it onto the board. Once you get it though, it's easy to use these. They hold on pretty well and don't pop loose every time you move anything on the hook (like 'regular' pegboard hooks do). The wire they are made from is a little bit thin (compared to what I'm used to seeing), but it doesn't seem to affect the usefulness at all. Overall, a good set of pegboard hooks.
