I think I had to remove about eight screws that's why I didn't give it a five for ease of installation. It however was easier to install than I thought it would be. I also put in an LED lamp Which is far brighter than the awful lamp that came with the original oven. All in all it was a great purchase but I would recommend to anybody to get the LED lamp you can actually see what you're cooking.

I was trying to change a light bulb in my microwave and it broke off. In trying to remove it I broke the socket and for a moment thought I would have to replace the microwave. Hopped on Amazon and found this replacement part. Installation was super easy. Crisis averted!

Had a burned out light at the bottom of my over the counter microwave. It wouldn't turn loose. I broke the socket trying to get it out. The replacement fit perfectly, only had to remove a couple screws. Went to much cooler LED lights. MAKE SURE you unplug the microwave when doing this. Just turning the light off doesn't remove power to everything.

These replacement parts were so much cheaper than at GE parts and are the same thing! Easy as piecto install, work great. I wish over the range microwave manufacturers would realize that heat from the range cracks the plastic though. This is the 3rd time we have had to replace these in 3 years!
