Easy installation and app. I bought this for the game room so I can control when it’s accessible. It was an easy switch, directions easy to follow. You can have multiples prints and manage them easy with the app. It also keeps a log and you can see when attempts have been made. This is the second lock I have bought from this company and I have not had issues. I did four stars only because this is a new lock and is a different model from my first one and I’d like to make sure it’s all good before giving 5 since I only recently installed this one. Oh and you can do multiple prints of your own to set to open so like a thumb and index and let you pick right or left hand to there is no confusion.

Muy útil. Me gustó ya no cargar la llave de mi casa. La pila dura mucho. No he tenido problemas con ella. Esta medianamente a la intemperie y no ha fallado. Llevo ya un año con ella.

I've had one of these on my back door and front door for about a year. Overall the setup was easy originally, but when I had to add some prints after about six months things went wrong.The app has a lot of trouble, it says connection issue just to simply log in, which was unfortunate when the finger option malfunctioned. I came home and the back door which we normally use I had locked from the inside with a deadbolt and went out the front door. When I came home to the front door, the print reader was flashing blue and wouldn't read my print. I tried to access the app and it wouldn't allow me to log in. I ended up having to send my kid through a window to get us in.When I came in I thought maybe I needed to change the batteries although it never alerted me like it said it would. I opened it and one of the batteries had exploded inside. I cleaned it and replaced them but the knob is now not functioning at all, not even the blue flash anymore. The back door still works fine, but I also can't log into the app to change or add prints anymore. Guess I'll have to dig out the key just in case that one stops working too, although the whole idea was to not have to keep my keys handy.Update: now the back door has done the same thing. The app says both have plenty of battery left. They just do nothing when I place my finger on them. The app says neither can connect to Bluetooth. Now I have to use the little keys they came with, effectly defeating the entire purpose of keyless entry a little over a year after installation.Would not recommend!

I just finished installing this and love it. I will update if anything changes but here is some info for you if you run into having too small a hole for this to line up. If you look at the image with the tape measure, you should see the outline of my old door knob by the ring around the wood. You can also see how the right screw hole was super tight to the side of the wood. The other part slips over what you see in that image so I used a steak knife to etch out some space around it for it to fit. That was step one. The second piece you install is the inside of the room half where you screw the screws into. This half has a bump out that's designed to center it in the hole and lock it in more tightly. Since my hole didn't line up, this bump out had to go. I took it apart and put it in a vice and using a sawzall I cut it off as you can see in the second image. The first half locks in both just fine and the second half having this enlarged bump out isn't at all necessary in my opinion. The door knob finally fit perfectly and is as secure as it would be otherwise. Hope that makes sense to those in the same situation.Update: The app stopped working and will not allow me to add it again. 4 nights of it installed and I got a notification saying it being lost. Followed the steps to try to add it again but it dropped it from the list and won't let me add it again. Brand new batteries, fingerprint still works, for now, but the app is pure crap. The door knob will soon lose the fingerprint function without the app from what I read so all I bought was a very expensive key knob. Waste of lots of time and now returning it.Update 2: I was contacted by the seller and was given my money back. Upgraded from 2 back to 5 stars. They said my issue would be fixed in future sales due to a fix in April. Not sure how that fix would help existing orders other than maybe a firmware update of sorts, or maybe updated app. I'll continue to check. I updated to 5 stars because they contacted me right away and didn't even ask the for product back. I'd buy again if there was less losing it in the app as well as being more easily picked back up via app. The door knob still accepts my fingerprint regardless of app, but I still need the app to work which it still does not (since it lost my particular knob). KEEP the card with the QR code you scan in. Without it you will be in my situation and unable to reconnect it to the app (until they fix this).

Es práctico y útil. La instalación es fácil, dar de alta las huellas es intuitivo. Lo que nadie te explica es que tienes que tener una batería (battery bank) enchufado todo el tiempo.
