This is a nice sturdy strong tool that has been helpful in the garden. The only issue was the tape used on the edge. Removing it was very hard and it took off the paint/finish. Otherwise, good.

I have used multiple hoes over the years for my garden and my biggest complaint is that they don't last as long nor are they as strong as they could be. What I love about this hoe and have since I got it is how strong it is and how easy it is to use. The handle is extremely strong and the blade itself makes it so much easier to pull up dirt and manage it when gardening. It's definitely much better than any hoe you might buy at a regular hardware store and I expect it will last a much longer time!

Having beaten and abused your garden variety “big box store” hoes over the years, I decided to try this style. At first I was unsure how I’d like it because it’s not flat across the main blade. Having the edges and slightly raked back head angle make this a very efficient tool for earth work. I wish I had found this brand and style years ago.

You know it as soon as you lift it out of the box just how tough-built this field hoe is. The blade is substantial, thick, sharp and secured well to the handle. This will work great at breaking up new soil but will work well at getting out weeds as well.Due to its heft, it may be a bit much for some to yield for long periods of time.I think this is the first hoe I've owned a hoe where I didn't wonder how long it was going to be before something broke on it. I'm sure this will last for many years. Great product, good value.

This hoe is impressively sturdy and well made. I was really impressed when I opened the box how good it looks! This is the kind of quality where you may never need to buy another one, your kids can inherit this one. And not only is it sturdy but it is in fact good at hoeing. I like that the blade on this one is a bit wider than normal, it makes it easier to work with.

What I like: Solid wood handle made from a single piece of wood, strong and easy to replace when it breaks, plus gives it a timeless look. The head is secured firmly onto the handle and the head is a beast of a hoe. The handle length plus the thickness of the blade creates serious momentum and real tilling power from relatively modest movements. It won't do the dirty work by itself, but it makes tilling a bed overrun with aggressive weeds possible to accomplish in a reasonable amount of time/effort without power tools. In short, this is a lifetime quality field hoe from what I have seen of using it so far, can't wait to use it more.What I don't like: It will be a long time before this is a problem, but the head is riveted very solidly onto the handle. The handle will break and need a replacement, and I will have to drill those out to use a sturdy wood screw. Why not just skip the trouble years earlier and secure the head with two short but sturdy wood screws using phillips or flat heads from the getgo? This is more so a wish for the future of the product than a legitimate downside, so five stars for this wonderful garden helper.
