The package was lost and I contacted Amazon. They immediately shipped a replacement and the package arrived with no problems. The saw was exactly as advertised and it works like a charm. It's strong. Blade included is good. I don't like the guard. When I push to rip, sometimes the guard doesn't retract

Has good power, the spindle lock for changing blade is nice. Should if you can use some kind of guide while cutting for straightness. Blade that comes with it is ok but definitely not the best, will dull quickly. Good to use every once in a while but not commercially like in construction.

The usual saw. No problems. Replaceable brushes. Not all metal, but the guard is. I should be able to use abrasive cutoff blades and not melt. How well the bearing is shielded will determine how long it lasts. I have a B&D that wore out the bearing. I used it a lot to cut metal with a cut off blade. I put a strip of metal in the plastic guard to keep it from melting. Worked a long time.
