This is an excellent replacement part for any Honda accord or Acura both brands use the exact same part. I tired to order this part from a local Honda dealership and ended up finding this seller on Amazon because the local dealership was out of stock and wanted more money then what I paid for it hear on Amazon. The part will fit any 2003 - 2007 Honda accord and even the tech at the dealership told me the same thing so do not worry if you have any doubt it works perfect and a direct fit. My door locks now work again with no issues and no reprogramming. The only down side is the part is not easy to get to you will need to remove your entire door panel and door lock assembly to install. Also I would recommend purchasing the door latch cable and replace both since you will need to take that cable off when you do this job. It took me longer to take it apart then it did to put the door panel back together but worth it in the long run since now I can enter the car without looking for the key and now all of the doors lock and unlock like it did previously.

Perfect replacement for drivers side front door of 2003 Honda Accord LX Sedan, like others I couldn;t use my fob anoymore since the drivers door actuator was burnt out. I will admit this isn't the easiest install you will do, but if you watch a couple different videos online and take it slow you'll be able to figure it out and it should take less than 2 hours total (took me about 40 minutes). As for the moisture barrier plastic sheet I found a piece of advise that was VERY helpful. Use a pocket knife to essentially cut the glue in half as you go around the edge pulling back on the plastic...be careful not to cut the plastic, but when you put it back on later the glue will meld to itself easily and you wont need to apply more or get a new moisture barrier, neat trick.

This is to fix the issue for the automatic door lock not working anymore. Item is the correct part for my Acura TSX 2005. No complaints, works as intended. The only advice I have is to make sure you buy the correct part for the correct door...as I had to fix both of the driver side and passenger side doors, I accidentally bought 2 driver side units, had to return one of them.

I noticed that I was unable to lock and unlock the doors on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline and through multiple hours of research, found that it is a common issue with Actuators going out. Do not let the "Genuine Acura Parts" sway you from this purchase, it is the OEM part for Honda vehicles. At first I was going to install this myself, but was getting other work done to my vehicle and had them do it for me. From what I was told, it was a little bit of a pain to install, so I was glad I did not do this myself. The video that was used for my research, and for the install was the following: [...]. As of right now, I am happy with the install and able to lock and unlock all doors from my key fob. I bought this as the drivers door wouldn't unlock/lock with the key remote and constantly required inserting the key into the door, and then pressing the buttons to get the other doors. Now that I replaced it, works like it never happened. The installation was a little bit of a hassle as it was my first time taking a door panel apart but it was done within 45 minutes.Taking the door panel apart requries the removal of 4 screws, 2 behind the inside door handle, one on the outer edge of the door inside the rubber grommet, and one under the armrest. After that I referred to the following forum for how to replace it. [...]

Fits my 2003 Honda Accord perfectly, but it's a little noisier than OEM and rather stiff when you try to work it manually. But it beats not being able to open the locks.

When the driver's-side door lock went out on my 2003 Accord sedan (taking the other locks with it), I tracked the problem down to the actuator. I'm no mechanic and the work involved to replace it seemed like too much for me to take on. I called several mechanics to look into fixing the door actuator and they all wanted around $300+, which I wasn't willing to pay. So I suffered with no door locks for nearly a year and a half. Then I bit the bullet and tried it myself. After buying this part it only took me ~2.5 hours in a poorly-lit garage to fix it. I so wish I had done this 18 months ago.

Update: after a successful install, the actuator failed again about three months later.Acura TL, 06, successfully took apart the driver's side door and replaced the door actuator with this part. Best deal I could find I they internet and eBay. Make sure to research how to fix this party and watch the two or three videos that are on YouTube.
