I would say this is a “Gore-Tex” French Jacket but honestly, This Coat has “Military Grade” of Rain and Snow Protection. I am 5 11” and 214 Lbs I wear 2XL Jacket size and this coat is “12O C” French Size and fits me Perfectly. The Price worth every penny. The customer service was so accurate and had a quick response about Sizing. I highly recommend this Jacket!

The zipper is on the left, as they do for females her in the states. Small gripe, but does take getting used to. Still worth it, would buy again.

I never thought highly of the French military, but, this jacket is excellent!Wore it in the snow more than once and it performed. Wore it in the rain and it performed again!On warm days the armpits have zips to let air in. It even comes with repair patches in case it ever gets torn. Oh yes, and even, don't forget to read the instructions (in French though) on how to care it. If it's one thing the French military ever did right it was designing this jacket 👏

High-quality genuine French army jacket. This jacket is so nice, and well-constructed. The fabric is thick, heavy-duty and waterproof. The jacket fits great; and is perfect for early spring or fall weather. The jacket is such a great value for the price; I would definitely recommend it.
