This took all of 15 minutes to install. Follow the instructions and look it up on YouTube first so you can see where the connector is and you cant go wrong. Worth every penny so I dont have to mess around with changing door locks.

Easy install. Had been getting locked IN my car, lights flashing for years since installer put in off-brand unit. For some reason he would not just replace a broken remote, but changed the whole system. Then the remote stopped locking the doors. Had to lock from inside, and close the driver side with the handle up to get it to lock. Then the last year remote randomly worked to unlock, often had to use key to open passenger door and either climb in or use a stick to unlock the drivers side! Holy mackerel! What an ordeal!! We are talking YEARS! I had been looking for replacement, but because too much time had gone by, was difficult to find a replacement. When found it was over $700+! I finally found this come up on Amazon. As you can imagine I was ecstatic! I decided to attempt install myself before paying $150+ to have it done for me. So glad I tried. Took about 3 minutes!! (Thank you youtube!) I am so happy every time I push this remote. Doors lock and unlock with no hesitation!

Purchased a 2005 Element without a FOB. I called a locksmith to program one for me and it would have cost another $100 but was willing to pay that to have the added security. He tried but couldn't get one to program and said i might have to go to the dealer. The dealership wanted $400 and if they can't get it to work i would still have to pay... that doesn't make sense :/ So after searching online for FOBs i came across a YouTube video where a gal was showing how you can buy this lil gadget and have a FOB for $100 without the dealership. When it arrived I was so excited but after programming I thought it was defective... I followed instructions to a T and the Fobs worked for a minute and then stopped... I read another reviewer figured this out and the last step isn't included in directions... after final on/press lock/ turn off... you need to get out of the vehicle, shut the door and then press the lock button again.. then programming is complete :) worth every penny!

100% OEM. Easy to install, literally 2 minutes, and was plug and play no set up required. Totally worth it it, fit perfectly where it should. Works well do note on Honda Elements the trunk release button does nothing.

Tried like hell to get this to work via the written information provided with the device but wasn't ever able to get the programming to hold. A google search or two later provided the solution I needed. I'll post the actual steps that worked for me on my 2007 Honda Element.Have all remotes for the vehicle on hand. Make sure all the doors and rear hatch/trunk are closed during programming. Only need to use 1 remote to get into program mode but all remotes must be programmed during the same session. Each step must be completed within 5 seconds.1. Sit in the car with all doors/trunk tightly closed2. Turn the key to the ON position, marked by "II" on the ignition bezel so the dash lights come on, then within 5 seconds press the "Lock" button on the remote for 1 second or so and release the button.3. Turn the key to the OFF position, marked by "I" on the ignition bezel - dash lights go off.4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 three more times (A total of 4 times) -- each step must be done within 5 seconds of the previous step.5. Upon the 4th turning of the key to "ON", press the lock button on one remote, the locks will make a cycling sound (clunk), locks will NOT lock or unlock at this point, they will just make a noise. The system is now in programming mode. Do not turn key off.6. Within 5 seconds of entering programming mode and within 5 seconds of each other, press the lock button ON EACH remote you are programming, for a second or so and release. This step needs to be completed within 10 seconds. Each time a remote button is pushed, the locks should cycle. Up to 3 remotes can be programmed.7. Turn ignition completely off and remove the key. Step out of car and close door. The remotes should be programmed and should work. If you have a trunk/hatch release, the button for this feature needs to be held for a few seconds before the trunk/hatch will "pop".

The keyless entry accessory was delivered to my door earlier than expected.I plugged in the gizmo under the dash, with one click, and voila, I got a 2003 honda element with a keyless entry system. The 2 remotes were already programed, so that was a 5 minutes maneuver that transformed the car into an updated version of itself. Thanks

I bought this product for a 2002 Honda CR-V that did not come factory with keyless entry. I installed the module under the radio, and it instantly worked. I did not have to program the remotes to the module, they came pre-programmed. So far this works very well.My car has a door locking problem, where I can't unlock the doors with the key, so going keyless was my only choice.

Quick install on a 2004 Honda Element. Simple as unclipping wire from the old unit and plugging in the new. The mount under the dash is tooless. Would buy again.
