Definitely not 16/0 size hooks. May be closer to 10/0. Look all right but, in that sweet spot where I will not use (too small for the purpose I ordered them for or too large for every day use). Until accurately sized I will go elsewhere.

Smaller size than other similar products from other manufacturers making it hard to bait properly

These require sharpening before use. I imagine they come dull for safety reasons, but they hold up well to swordfish, sharks, and tuna.

THESE ARE WELL CONSTRUCTED AND LOOK GREAT. I FISH FOR GIANT CATFISH WITH A 10/0 HOOK BUT I BOUGHT THESE FOR DECORATION OF MY OFFICE, NOW EVERYONE THINKS THAT THIS IS WHAT I USE.

Yes, they are magnetic. That doesn't make them bad hooks, and it doesn't mean they aren't stainless.Sorry, I'm not trying to call out anybody I just don't like misinformation. A lot of folks seem to think that no stainless will stick to a magnet and that's just not the case. There are many types of stainless steel for different purposes. Some stainless steel WILL stick to a magnet. Certain alloys like 300 series 304, 308, 18/10 won't stick to a magnet but stainless in the 400 series will, e.g. 410 stainless is a very common stainless alloy that WILL stick to magnets very well. It resists rust far better than plain carbon steel but not as well as a 300 series stainless (which CAN rust in theory but in practice basically never does).300 series stainless *cannot* be heat treated (or forged) to a higher hardness! It has better corrosion resistance but it comes at the cost of being generally SOFTER and WEAKER metal! For these to be a FORGED hook they pretty much MUST be magnetic! A 300 series stainless would likely bend under the strain of a fish big enough to use these hooks for... or you'd have to make them out of honking thick rod. Instead, they're made out of a high hardness high strength stainless that will resist rusting but not forever. It's a compromise. All of the stainless hooks currently in my tacklebox stick to a magnet. Go the the local tackle shop with a magnet. Bet you won't find too many stainless hooks that DON'T stick to it even in the flagship brands.I have no problem with these hooks. They're good hooks. Well formed, sharp, good eyes, and I expect they'll be strong (I have no way to bend test them). I got 10/0 size if that matters. If you really want them to last forever, rinse them off when you get home and keep them dry.
