yes, it's the cheapest and most basic; i have one on my backyard fence for clippers and gardening gloves; another outside the fence filled with dog treats for the neighborhood pups; stays dry. good purchase; who needs a million dollar mail box!

Much nicer than expected. I thought I was buying a temporary mailbox and fell in love with this 1. My only drawback is needing hardware which is the oddest thing to not be included. Luckily I dint through away things I find would be useful at a later time.

This white wall-mounted mailbox is 15 1/2" x 8" and 4.7" wide. It is rustproof, and the fact that it is made in America is wonderful.Now that we have gotten thru the important information let me tell you, finding a mailbox is not an easy task. I wanted one to fit on my siding but not too big and not too small. My family subscribes to many magazines, plus we got junk mail (lots of it), and last but not least, the bills.Considering mailboxes can range from about twenty-five dollars up to hundreds of dollars, this one works great for our family and is a good buy.

It’s as described, not very sturdy but should do the job of holding light mail. My peeve with this product is it came with no hardware or instructions to mount it. Plenty of holes in the back designed to hold it, but you’re going to need to buy your own screws/hardware. Weird!

I like this product overall, given the fact that the plastic looks elegant and not cheap at all. However, when you install it, the top two pieces sticking out are blocking the way to get it mounted. It has been very hard to mount on vinyl sliding. So if you wish to install it using those vinyl sliding hooks, don’t buy this.

Amazon Warehouse purchase. Received in good condition, better than expected.I've been looking for a long time to do a direct replacement on our rusty metal mailbox when I saw this one, which looked nicer and is bigger so I ordered it.Box label on back comes with the installation instructions, as well as a cut-out template.Screw holes didn't sit where the other mailbox did so new holes had to be made, and it sits on our siding at a weird forward angle due to their width. But it is a great improvement over the ugly rusted one it replaced. The front facing offers plenty of room for house numbers as well.Anyone who orders one should make note that the bottom holes are not for attaching to a wall, but are for newspaper hanger accessories, not included.

Tiene buen tamaño, lo malo es que es de plastico aunque duradero. Se ensucia rapido. Ademas la puerta hace un tronido cada vez que se abre y cierra.

Love it. Feels like thick plastic. Matte black finish. The mounting feature is built in to hold the top away from the surface so your top can open fully. (I had a metal one and it would screech every time it opened because the hinges scraped against the brick.) If you open the top too far up it catches (so it will stay open), not a big deal but I worry about the longevity of this feature every time I have to force close.

Looks nice and the size is good for large mail like magazines and small packages. However it is rather difficult to install. If you only read the listing description and not scroll all the way down to look at the images, you will not know the mounting hardware is sold separately. I did not see that and was unprepared. Also, the instructions on the bix are terrible - missing a lot of information. Like the fact the back appears to be detachable to make it easy to mount. But there is no mention and we were afraid we would break it not knowing how to. Thankfully I have very small hands and a stubby screwdriver, otherwise there is no way to screw it into the wall. Buyer beware. It does look nice though and serves it's purpose. Also beware, meant for areas with overhead coverage like a front covered porch due to weather.
