BUYERS BEWARE....I purchased an exhaust for my 2011 Avalanche which currently has 77920 miles on it. It had 47000 on it when it was installed. Well the Gibson stainless tip fell off due to the weld failing. I contacted customer service and they responded that this is not covered under warranty. So workmanship is not covered???? They told me that all they could offer was a discount on a new tip. Pretty frustrating and I will be removing this exhaust for a better quality product. Do your research before you purchase from them. I would give them less then 1 star if it were possible.

Not custom fit, had to do some trimming (per the instructions) to fit my Suburban. Also, it sounds terrible during the transition to V4 mode.Go to a local muffler shop and get a custom system, not anymore expensive than buying online.

The exhaust comes in 4 parts. A head pipe which connects to the exhaust flange from the catalytic converter y-pipe. This pipe is also a donut flange so no gasket required. A muffler a tail pipe and the chrome tip. Instructions are provided and easy to follow. I backed my 07 Avalanche on to a sidewalk curb and had pleanty of clearance. Be careful though when removing your exhaust studs. You will need to cut the pipe behind the muffler to remove the stock exhaust. The head pipe bolted right up with no issues and everything fit snug and perfect. Be sure to use some wd-40 or pen oil on the rubber hangers to get the hangers in and out easier. Now for the sound. You will hear a rumble out of the tail pipe. It is nice and a little throaty but not so much to wake your neighbors. Acceleration was immediately noticed as well. Not sure yet on gas mileage but make sure you undo the negative battery cable for at least 15 min so the computer resets and can recalculate for the change. It took about 2 and a half hours from start to finish. For the price you truly cannot beat this exhaust.
