I've often wondered whether reducing exhaust back pressure would improve performance and mileage in my old Land Rover and so took the plunge and purchased this Magnaflow custom exhaust and had it installed. The exhaust sound is more audible from inside and outside but is a pleasant unobtrusive rumble and does provide feedback to help reduce pressure on the accelarator pedal when it's not really necessary. However, performance and gas mileage are unchanged from their previous abysmal levels. I'm still happy, though, and the dual exhaust pipes look really cool!
