Best on the market most just bend or handle comes loose and starts spinning making it deficit to use. This one stays firm and does the job.

Love this baking tool. No sharp edges around the handle, it's one solid piece so the handle never becomes loose or shifts in my grip, and the silicone around the handle makes it a little softer so it's easier on my hand. I tried one with a thumb-rest years ago but discovered I don't like that design much and this is better. I wish it came in pink, or at least fuchsia, but red is pretty good too.

I bought this pastry cutter for my daughter who happens to have larger hands than me. It works great for her. Solid construction. When buying one of these make sure the dimensions fit your hands.

This style of cutter is quite effective, however price and quality competing objectives have pushed every offering to use a gauge of steel that will flex enough over time that the outer blades will eventually break off. Buy another one is the promoted solution

Before I purchase this pastry blender, I study others I had seen, and read a few verdicts by bakers online. The 3 things I wanted most was to make sure (1) It was solid stainless steel, (2) there were no cracks and crevices for any type of food stuff to seep into, and (3) it had to be easy to clean without injury, and having to pull out any special tools or brushes to ensure it would be clean.When I should receive the item I was thrilled that is construction of a solid one piece tool, and I like the touch of red at the handle. What I missed and ensuring it met my two priorities was the handle not being a part of the metal cast. While the crack/space between the plastic handle insert and the metal is very tight, it's still has the potential of one day allowing food stuff in the opening. Other than that, I really love this tool. If and when it has to be replaced, I will ensure it is one solid piece with no cracks, space, or crevices where food can even remotely find a hiding place. Until my confidence is breached, I will enjoy this.

This model of pastry cutting tool is exactly what is needed by home bakers today. Very efficient--a real improvement over wire pastry cutters from the past. This tool is efficient, easy to clean and has a great feeling in the hand which facilitates ease of use. The weight and single-piece metal construction make this pastry cutter a reliable baking tool.

A pastry cutter is an essential kitchen tool for me, used primarily for biscuits and pastries. I have never mastered the art of using two knives!Many pastry cutters have flimsy blades that are prone to bending, either in storage between using or when cutting cold butter. Since butter is best cut in when cold, this is obviously not acceptable! This one does not. The blades are sturdy without being cumbersome and after months, there is no sign of a curve in any of them. This is definitely a quality piece of kitchen paraphernalia and one I would recommend. It's also budget conscious in price, costing less than many inferior versions.

Let me start out by saying this pastry cutter is bigger than your average one and is much more comfortable to hold in your hand and manage. I used it to cut butter into flour for some sweet potato biscuits and it was fantastic. I often find that with the smaller pastry cutters the dough can get really stuck in between and that the entire process can make your hand hurt, but didn’t really have that problem with this cutter. Because of the size of this I can see myself using it for other things as well like mashed potatoes, mashing up avocados, or even making egg salad. Can’t wait to keep using this!
