As another review had said, these are intended to be used in clothing but they can be used in so many other ways. The connector itself is well made and the location of the wires is perfect to give a clean view from the outside. As mentioned the wire gauge limits the current draw but I suspect for most things this should be fine. I plan to use them in modding projects so not looking to provide a large current draw for a heating element (which is what you would expect to use in some clothing). Basically if you are the type looking for this type of item, you can't go wrong with this one.

I used these GINTOOYUN 5.5x2.1mm Barrel Connectors for a different purpose than they were intended and they worked amazingly well! The construction of the barrel end connector includes an oversized rectangle mounting area that can be used to mount the connector into clothing. Sewing needles would be able to penetrate the plastic at a grove around the edge. However I used four tiny screws to mount the barrel connector to the underside of a cabinet to power LED lighting. This was very sturdy and an easy way for me to have a barrel connector mounted to my cabinets and much cheaper than other options. My only dislike was the 24awg wire which is good for ~3 amps. A thicker wire would have made this connector suitable for more projects.
