This is the best tape on the market. I had one my trailer. it went bad (same kind) not sure old it was. i replaced it with this same kind. when i repalced it when froze and -7 below zero. im going to install two tapes so i can have a spareinstalling heat tape at -7 is no fun.

Update still working January 2024I installed this product in my RV water bay compartment around pump and lines insulation too! Works great self adjusting temperature on off automatically once 65 degrees is reach 7 watts per foot.Used these on Alaska Bush jobs never failed during cold winter months.The best on the market
