This product is advertised as stainless steel. The box clearly says that it is made from zinc alloy. Zinc alloys are unsafe to use with high acid food because zinc can be leached into the food. I wish Amazon allowed negative stars!

This squeezer does what it should, and it is solid, all around. After squeezing over 50 limes (so far) there hasn't been any "play" in the hinge, or misalignment of the top, and bottom.It cleans easily, and looks good enough to be able to store with my other metal kitchen tools.My only issue are that the holes are large enough to let some seeds, and pulp through. However, I have mesh-type kitchen bags that I just cut into the appropriate size, and shape. to make filters.

This is the best option for juicing citrus. I’ve tried all sorts of juicers and nothing is more reliable or efficient than this! Sturdy and easy to clean.

I like that it is heavy duty enough that I could press hard enough to get all the juice out without breaking it. I like that it has a large enough clamshell to fit larger lemons and limes, even tangerines! I like that it is NOT aluminum, rather a heavier Zinc alloy which is much safer. This is a good priced quality lemon squeezer, and it gets all the juice.

The lemon squeezer is heavy, but so it works well. I squeezed cut orange and it produced good amount of orange juice. It's value for the money and a must have for a household.

I just used this stainless citrus squeezer to make ginger limeade and it worked like a charm to squeeze the juices from the limes. Very easy and efficient at getting all the juice out. I like that it is stainless and also that it can be hung up for easy storage and quick grabbing. Since I make a new drink for my family everyday, I will be grabbing this little gadget a lot! Another thing I like is that this lemon juicer is larger than the standard size I used to have but threw it away since I didn't know what material it was made of.Pros: stainless, large, easy to squeeze, hangableCons: it's not marked with which stainless it is making it questionable qualityRecommend? Yes, I do! At around $12 this lemon squeezer is a good deal.
