This is an interesting floor pump design with a lot of good features including the large base, chunky, comfortable handle with storage for a ball inflation needle and the pool toy type adapter, and big, easy-to-read gauge.Having the locking lever work the opposite way looks funny, but it makes sense to avoid pinching your skin at the pivot as you apply force to lock as on most other pumps. I've done that maybe four or five times over the decades, so not too bad, but when it happens it's super painful. It'll take getting used to though, and I've had the pump head blow off the valve a couple of times probably because I didn't press down far enough before locking. Once on a presta, once on a schrader.I'm not so fond of floor pumps that clamp onto the hose to let you carry the pump around by the handle, as opposed to something with a separate, handle-locking lever, e.g. my Topeak Joe Blow Pro. It's clever in that it kills two birds with one stone, securing the hose and locking down the pump handle, but I'd prefer not to have cycles of pinching the pump hose in the same spots over and over, and pulling the hose lengthwise as you lift the pump by the handle. But it's not that big a deal, especially when the pump is so light like this one. I have other steel bodied pumps that are much heavier, I assume because of a thicker-walled pumping chamber and a beefier steel bases, e.g. my Blackburn TP-3.The only real complaint I have with this pump is that the gauge reads about 4.5 psi lower than my other floor pumps and my digital tire gauge, at least when first attached to a valve and locked on, letting air from the tire into the pump's gauge. Give it one full pump and the pressure jumps up about 3 psi, at least on a car tire. There's no way that I'm adding 3 psi to a car tire with a single pump action. I suppose that as long as the gauge is consistent, you can compensate by underinflating by 4.5 psi as indicated by the gauge. YMMV for your pump and your applications.-

The bike pump is a great tool! I really like that they included a gauge that shows the inflated psi, so I can make sure my tires are properly inflated. And the hose clip works on both Schrader and Prestia valves, which is super convenient. You don’t need to change or move the insert. How convenient! All you need to do is connect the hose clip to the value stem, make sure it’s fully seated, click the latch to secure it, and then pump away.

The GIYO Bike Floor Pump is almost as good as my name-brand pump. The gauge is on the floor, but I can still read it while standing and pumping. I wish the gauge background was all yellow, but it has black lettering on the yellow section and white lettering on the black section. The needle is white. A black needle against a yellow background with black lettering is much clearer. There is no need to have two background colors. The gauge was accurate and matched my trusted gauges. When I first tried the valve, it wouldn't seat correctly. I positioned it and locked the lever, but the pressure would instantly shoot to almost 80psi because I was inflating only the hose. It suddenly started working after a few tries of not doing anything perceptibly different. I inflated a bicycle tire and then topped up the air in all four car tires. Manual pumps like this GIYO have so much air displacement per stroke that they are faster than any cigarette-lighter air compressor if you are in good physical shape. I added 3-5 psi to all four tires with about 100 strokes in total. It's a good workout that takes less than 1/4 of the time needed for a noisy cigarette-lighter air compressor. The instruction card is as simple as it needs to be. The GIYO pump works like any other pump except that it stores the ball needle and air mattress adapter in the handle. The $35-40 price is fair, but I'd like more metal in the handle and base.

Excellent bike pump. Very easy to use and the gauge is easy to read. Fantastic. It lives in my truck now and I forsee using this tire pump for years to come. Perfect for any mountain biker or road cyclist and great for motorcycles too if you find yourself without a compressor.Great pump. love it.

Very nice pump that’s super easy to use. The lever mechanism is fantastic, as it only needs to lock on and can be easily released. Way better than the old style levers. The guage is huge and very easy to see. Pumps up a tire very fast. I love this pump. I wish the foot pedals were slightly wider to prevent tip overs, but that’s not too big of a deal. Love everything else.

I had low expectations for this floor pump honestly going into it. But this is a great pump, much better than my crank brothers pump. The mechanism for locking onto the valve works great, it clicks in the place and holds itself and is easy to do so with one hand. There's a little release that you hit to release the lock, again super easy to do with one hand. The gauge is also surprisingly accurate. I have yet to find a floor pump that has an accurate gauge when compared to my digital topeak gauge that I normally use. However this reads spot on on every pressure I've tested so far between 15 and 30 PSI.Each pump moves a decent amount of air. The only improvement I would make is to make the base of it out of metal rather than the plastic. But for the price it's a great pump!

This is nicer quality than any bike pump I've had in the past and it works and inflates your tires with air as expected. It is packaged in just clear plastic bag and a zip tie securing the handle, with a minimalist instructions card (pictured--that's all the instructions). Everything about it seems like it will be sturdy. There are less expensive models but I'm happy to have this one.

This is a great pump. I really love the giant gauge as it makes it so easy to tell when I'm done filling tires. I also like how it's broken into MTB tires and road tires. Overall, this is an excellent choice!
