This is a great layout if you have a 3 pole circuit that you want to probe or tap into. Maybe something like plus, minus, and ground, or maybe +12v, +5v, and common.My favorite application of this particular lever nut is using it as a fixture for mounting resistors, switches, or capacitors in line with a power cord for testing. Once you have found the right component value for your application, you can make up a more permanent solution. This makes testing capacitive droppers a breeze.I'm sure these are not approved by UL, CSA, or any other organization that checks safety, but as a device used for testing (Read as "Temporary"), it's really great.

Wago style connectors are not perfect, this one does not provide a clear window so the connections are visible. However, this is so handy, I keep a few with my tools.Every Wago connector will be unreliable if the wire is not properly stripped or if the levers get pulled open. A wrap of electrical tape makes the latter unlikely, but users who are not sufficiently skilled or aware are the most common cause of the former.Incredibly useful and easy to apply make these a "go to" connector for me.

I am pretty critical of methods for connecting electrical conductors and delayed trying a lever connector for a few years. Finally, I had a resource that I wanted to reconfigure as needed for various use cases. I have never liked wire nuts because of their effect on the wire (although there are reasons to use them). This product works great for my intended purpose.This is my first experience with lever connectors, and I will be buying this style connector again.
