This Thing Is Pure Junk. It Doesn't Even Leave A Scratch-mark On The Glass. Waste Of Money.

Fist off, the directions are not clear or well written at all. It took me some time and some trial and error to figure out how to put it together but once I did it was easy to disassemble and reassemble. I like how compact it can be since I won't but cutting glass that often and as a crafter I already devote a ton of storage space in my house to things I don't use all that often. That said its a good little glass cutter for the money. The most important thing to know is that this glass cutter will not cut through the glass by itself. Its meant to give you a weak point so that you can get a clean-ish break from a temperature change.I put a pot of water on the stove and waited it to boil. Once I had my score line from the cutter I put the bottle into the water and held it there until i heard a crack, you could also pour the water over the glass slowly if you're cutting off the top of a bottle instead of the bottom like I was. I then switched over to my sink and ran cold tap water over it. You might need to do this a couple times but once I heard another crack under the cold water I pulled/twisted gently and the glass separated. I used the sand paper to make sure there weren't any sharp edges. The cut wasn't clean or perfectly straight but it'll work for my purposes. Next time I try this I'll do more rotations on the cutter and see if that helps get a cleaner break. All in all I'm happy with it but you can probably get a better, straighter cut from a more expensive cutter. It really depends on what you're looking for and how often you're cutting glass.

You (don't) get what you pay for.1st. It didn't come with any instructions to assemble it.*Go online to start & stop, follow a video.2nd. After several frustrating tries at assembling , I discovered that ONE needed SCREW WAS STRIPPED! Thanks. Finally it halfway worked (Not cutting the bottle completely)🤨.My second attempt yielded only further frustration with the cutter itself just not being up to the job. It just seemed not sharp enough. My review is a : Seriously guys?

I had to send the first one back because of bent parts. They sent a replacement and now, I can’t dufute how to put it together. Waste of money buy a glass cutter at Lowes and follow YouTube videos to cut glass. This thing is impossible to understand.
