This review is for Glass Fermentation Weights – Heavy, Non-Porous Glass Weights for Fermenting – Fermentation Weights for Pickling, Sauerkraut, Kimchi & Probiotic Foods – Wide Mouth Mason Jar Compatible – Set of 4.I got this set of fermentation weights to replace another set that is difficult to grasp because of the handle being a small, solid, and slippery bar. The primary selling point was that the knob is round and should be easier to grasp. The weights are solid, well-made, and fit perfectly in most of my jars. I love that they’re made from food-safe glass and keep everything nicely submerged for a healthy ferment. They’re easy to clean and reusable, which is a big plus. My only minor gripe is that they can be a bit slippery when wet, but overall, they do exactly what they're supposed to and make the process much easier than using 4-oz mason jars.

These glass fermentation weights are exactly what I needed! I love how heavy they are—they really keep everything submerged during the fermenting process. The non-porous glass is easy to clean and doesn’t hold onto smells or stains. Plus, they fit perfectly in my wide mouth mason jars. I’ve used them for pickles, sauerkraut, and kimchi so far, and they’ve worked great every time. Definitely a must-have if you’re into home fermentation!
