I'm using this 3" pad on a MAC tools mini palm sander. I use it on wood projects and cars mainly. It's pretty flexible. Which I can see other people's point of view as it being "flimsy" or "cheap." I think it's perfect because my sanders orbit is so small and not violent, it does not destroy the little pad. This is a great product imo.
