I love this star however it is battery operated which I had missed when ordering but it’s worth it . I looked at so many and this one is the prettiest . A little glitter but not horrible ! I got the gold one .

My previous star, similar to this one died, probably since it had old fashioned light bulbs. This one has LED lights, so I looked forward to receiving it. It does not plug in, it has a cheezy plastic box in which one has to insert 2 AA batteries. It has an on off switch on the box, and if one is very, very tall, one may reach up to the tree top when turning the thing off or on. Looking back now at the Amazon ad for this light, I do find the fact that it uses batteries buried near the end of the product description. Worse, the light bulbs are placed on the star in somewhat random places, I think a small child could do a better job of putting the bulbs in a pleasing pattern.

Star is perfect, but the description is a little misleading claiming to be warm lighting. The light is a bright white light. I don’t use it for the light now.
