I got this Glocusent night light video monitor to keep track of my dog when I leave her home alone.It comes in a nice box and includes a light, usb charging cord with usb adapter, and instructions.On inspection, it’s high quality materials, well constructed, attractive and ergonomic.Downloading the app was quick and easy. Within minutes it was paired to my phone and monitoring in surprisingly sharp video.The instructions are easy to follow and the app is simple and user friendly.It’s thoughtful how all the simple icons match the nice lullabies and sounds. It has a good speaker and sounds pleasant.Once set up by my dog’s sleeping and eating area, I was able to leave my house and remotely see what my dog was doing.I am also able to talk to her so she can hear my voice.The light is what really makes this monitor. It’s bright enough to light a room, yet dims to a soft glow with excellent dispersion. I can remotely adjust brightness, color, and (3)light modes. A neat thing was being able to remotely turn the light on in flash mode and see the camera was working in an empty room.The head is solidly fixed atop the light and does not tilt or swivel. Although this would be nice, the camera is wide angle enough to capture most of what I what to see. The advantage is that the head is a solid and reliable handle to pick the light up with. With the camera fixed, there’s less to go wrong and minimalist in mechanics.Also nice is I can check on my dog by talking through the intercom and see her response. There’s calming music and soothing nature sounds I can play and all from my phone.Overall, I am impressed with this nightlight/baby monitor. It’s high quality, has excellent video, thoughtful features and easy to use.It’s easy to move around and I’ve been using it every day since I got it and so far well the worth money. It’s really fun spying on my dog and seeing just how good a sleeper she is. 5 stars👍🏼

Ok so I actually got it so I can watch and talk to my cats when I leave. I'm trying a trip with just an automatic feeder for a couple days, but wanted to be able to monitor in case I need to call a friend to come from across town during that time. This way I can see the food and water area, and watch when the feeders dispense the food to make sure the dominant one isn't eating both of their food, which is a concern without me here to monitor them.This thing works so well! Through the app I can watch them, and also talk to them. I can imagine with a baby you wouldn't be away from the home but at least can have an eye on them at all times without getting up to check. And then the white noise would also be handy, to help them sleep. Great design.

This Glocusent Smart Night Light with HD1080P Video Monitor is a solid choice. Out of all of the various camera systems and baby monitors I have owned, this one has the clearest picture quality. The camera piece is stationary, so it does not swivel, but the wide angle lens makes up for that. I have no issues with the field of view. You just need to be mindful of where you place the light.I really love the pure quality of design for this product. Each of the separate features works like it was the focal feature. The light is bright with clear color output. There are a ton of color settings through the app or just by pressing the physical buttons. The audio is also super clear and does not distort if you connect from further away like some do. The size is what I expected. It is hefty enough to house all of the tech needed while being small enough to not look like hardware.The app did not take up a ton of space and was quick to load. The features make sense and are responsive. I like that there are preset music options and you can program different settings for different times of the day. The biggest plus for this product is the built-in battery. I HATE having to leave things plugged in for them to work. It is 2025 and this design is 100% it! Portability and space saving at its finest.100% love this camera/nightlight. It is a steal at this price too.5/5
