I was worried at first about using a solid wooden palm rest because I've used a soft plastic one in the past and thought this might be too firm. The ergonomics of the height are way more important to the comfortability than the material, and it feels just right. My hands don't slip while using it, and they don't feel stuck either. I think it's an acceptable texture of finish and it has held up well after a couple years of daily use. I would sayit's a decent value for the money.

I'll preface by saying I have terrible wrist posture and that's why I need a wrist rest. The build quality of the keyboard is top notch. Even though it is wood, the comfort level is in no way inferior to the soft gel variation. Also, unlike the gel wrist rests, this wooden wrist rest does not absorb moisture from your sweat, so you don't have to worry about your wrist rest smelling after awhile. Keep in mind that this is for the FULL standard size (numpad) so if you try to buy this for your TKL it will stick out a bit longer than expected. Overall love the product and saved my wrist from pain after a hard day of work.

It looks great, feels great, with high quality material. Works great with helping my wrist get some relaxation and not get stressed. Real high quality wood that has a pleasing shape. Seems pretty durable and solidly built.

This is a very comfortable and attractive piece of wood. It comes barely coated though and was easily smudged when my palms started sweating. To fix this and prevent permanent damage to the surface, I rubbed some mink oil on it and wiped any excess oil. The mink oil acts as additional protection from sweat and other liquids, you could also use linseed oil (which is probably more common for wood). Time will tell how it holds up, but treat it as any other piece of wood furniture and I think it will last quite awhile. On a side note, I shudder a bit to think of how much sweat and dead skin builds up on memory foam/cloth-lined wrist rests. With the right materials, wood is easy to clean and re-protect.

I didn't have high expectations but I decided to try this product out before pulling the trigger on a much more expensive hand-made wrist rest on Etsy. It's made of wood, although it's a very light wood that has been stained and sanded nicely on the top to look like a much more expensive hardwood. The feet keep the rest in place when I'm typing and I have noticed that the improved elevation has not only kept my wrists happy, but it's improved my typing speed and accuracy slightly as well.Measure your keyboard before ordering to see how this will fit, but highly recommended for me for the price!

I'm rating this wrist rest 5 stars despite the fact that it's not for me. The reason that it is not for me is simple: My palms get very sweaty, and this makes my palms stick to the wrist rest, making it hard to move my hands around. This is an inherent limitation of the fact that it is made out of wood, and drove me to the 17" x 4" x 0.75" foam wrist rest from Grifiti instead. If you don't have sweaty palms, however, this wrist rest is perfect. It is 4 inches deep instead of the typical 3.1 inches, it is the perfect height and tapered just so for maximum comfort, the wood (Golden Oak color) is beautiful, and the engraved logo is tasteful and non-intrusive.

Maybe a bit overpriced for the wood quality. It is very light, so it is probably just made of regular soft wood. But it does not have any knots, it is stained, and feels good overall. It also has nice rubber anti-slip pads at the bottom.Update: Adding photo after two years of use.

I used to use a typical padded wrist pad, but am a heavy sweater. Upon reading another review in regards to that matter I decided to take the plunge on this rest. I have been a user of the Model O mouse from Glorious for a while and liked it so I trusted the company's reputation for taking gamers' needs into consideration. After using it for about a week and playing different types of games/working from home on it, I can say that although your sweat might pool during sweaty moments, it's easy to wipe off and doesn't seem to easily absorb into the wood. The wood itself is of a nice quality, I like the oak over the onyx for a more "real wood" look. There was no difference in comfort for me, you'd think being used to a padded wrist this shift would be "hard" on me, but no, I haven't had any problems. It's ergonomics for typing are also good as I notice my WPM and consistency be higher on multiple tests.All-in-all quite satisfied with the purchase, fits the aesthetic, feel, and ergonomics I was looking for.

I got the compact version, and it is slightly big on my keyboard (KEMOVE 61) like... half an inch. The grip on the bottom is not the best, it does move slightly, but if your keyboard has grip then it should be okay. The quality of the wood is nice, smooth finish. This might just be my wrist rest but there are a lot of wood grain/line texture, it's not a flaw but everyone has different opinions and preferences. The little logo on the bottom right looks like they engraved the logo and painted over it but mine looks like they were running out of paint and it's a really light/dim yellow and not a bright/shiny/ gold yellow like in the pictures. The packaged arrived in a Amazon bag, which crushed one side of the box and had some damages to the box, some people don't care about the box and throw it away but I like to keep the boxes and use them as display.

Gut verarbeitet, keine Scharfen Kanten. Alles in allem absolut perfekt.
