I purchased this waist belt after having a car accident. I was struggling with a whiplash injury that just wouldn't go away & after a while realized that my dog pulling on his leash might be aggravating it. I was right! After about a month of using the waist belt, the whiplash is under control & the pain is much less. I can finally continue with my rehab. Now this isn't a magic fix, but for anyone wanting to use their core to balance the weight of their dog, I would say it's worth a try. My dog is around 65lbs & it seems to hold him just fine, I'm not worried about it breaking at all. It took my dog no time at all to get used to it & I would say that he is actually pulls less with this leash than he did before. Perhaps he can feel the tension when the leash stretches so knows to stay close. The only thing that wasn't great is the size of the clip on the leash. I use a harness & the clip wasn't big enough to attach to it so I ended up buying a carabiner to make the connection which works fine.Overall, I think this leash is great. It's made out of good quality material & the price is very reasonable. I plan to continue to use the leash even when I have recovered fully as it gives me great control of my dog. I can't wait to try it out whilst running.

Absolutely perfect. Everyone who notices it asks me where to get one from. Bungee leash has the perfect level of tautness - dog doesn't need to pull too hard to extend it all the way, but it's strong enough of a pull that you can tell he notices when he tries too hard. Would definitely buy again!

I've been using this leash with my dog for a month now, going on two runs per week. It's not perfect, but I love it because it leaves my hands free. It took a bit of adjusting to get it right. I'm 5'6" (with short legs) and I have an Australian Shepherd, so the elastic part was too long for us. My husband solved it with folding a section of it up and securing it with a zip tie. Works just fine, but would be nice if it that part was adjustable. I do find it annoying that it turns around my waist and then the elastic part that hangs down to attach to the the dog hits the front of my leg as I'm running. So I'm constantly pulling it back in place. It's probably because my dog likes to be just a tiny bit ahead of me no matter how many times I correct her! Or maybe I need to make it tighter around my waist? Not sure.I'm quite happy with the quality. The material is very sturdy and the clasps are made of metal. I saw some reviews saying the elastic wore out quickly. My dog isn't a puller, so I can't speak for that. I would expect any elastic to give out if you let your dog pull on it constantly. This is pricey for a dog leash, but I'm quite happy with my purchase and would do it again!

Love this leash! Sooo much better to have my hands free and run with proper form for a change. The length is perfect for my Aussie, and the material is smooth enough that if she wants to switch sides, I can just turn the whole belt. I was a little concerned about that at first, because I thought the mechanism that attaches the leash to the belt was supposed to actually turn ON the belt, and it didn't, but rest assured, it's unnecessary. Unless your dog runs circles around you, in which case you may want to rethink running with the dog until you can do some more training. All the material and fasteners appear to be durable. They ARE plastic, but they seem very sturdy. If they were metal, that would just add weight, which you don't want when running. All in all, 5 stars and very happy with my purchase!!

After reading the reviews, choosing the Stunt puppy runner hands-free dog leash was a leap of faith. This is because of the mixed contents on the reviews. The most important negative that was found is the comment about how short the leash is. Having a 14 lbs. chihuahua/terrier mix with a lot of energy and love for runs was considered a problem if the leash was indeed as short and intrusive as described. However, this was not the case once the leash was tried out on the field. Running with such a little and energetic dog was a pleasure at a 9:00 min/mile pace. The bungee leash worked great when the dog charged the encountered birds along the course allowing an easy and comfortable pull that was not felt before with the previous runs using a Flexi leash in hand. Some reviews also comment that it was great for walking the dog. This would not be feasible from my experience as having the leash on the waist makes the walking with the hands down a little intrusive, which doesn't happen by the natural motion of the arms when running. Another consideration against the leash was the poor quality of the hooks. Totally disagree. After receiving the leash, the hooks seemed pretty good and with quality according to the expected usage of the leash: to connect with a dog's collar or harness. Would totally recommend this hands-free dog leash!!!

What a cool little invention! I started jogging with my Beagle mix in the mornings and realized rather quickly that it was a pain to jog with one arm static and controlling the dog. I looked on Amazon for something that might solve this problem and lo and behold: Stunt Puppy! This product allows you to run hands-free with few worries about the safety of your dog. The belt is fully adjustable and easy to do so. I was a little worried about the belt because I thought it would need loops which I do not have on any of my running shorts but loops are not required. The belt stays nice and secure around your waist while running. Another great feature is that the connector where the leash is attached to the belt slides with your dog from left to right in front of you so your pooch can explore both sides of wherever you are running without throwing you off. The leash length is just right for the safety of both you and your pet and is made of very strong bungee material to give your pet a gradual pull to let them know to keep running with you if they happen to fall behind or stop. This is a very well-made product and makes you WANT to run with your dog.

I could not be happier with this product! I am a petite woman, 5'3'' 110 lbs with a strong Weimaraner! This leash makes running and walking with her a breeze. The waist strap is very adjustable and it fits very comfortably around my waist/hip area. I love that the leash is bungee-like so it absorbs the pulling, and she does pull hard sometimes! I was a little skeptical about the strength of the bungee thinking that she would easily snap it, but it appears to be very durable. It's a bungee that is wrapped inside a nylon material for extra strength. I have only used it 4-5 times so far, but I love it. It's a godsend for runners because it allows you to concentrate on running and being able to use your arms rather than worrying about keeping a good grip on the leash. As for walking, it's wonderful to be able to use my hands to answer my phone or get into my pockets without having to juggle leashes. My only concern/dislike is the clips that attach the leash to the dog-they are a little small and hard to clip in sometimes. They don't seem like the most sturdy of clips, but so far I've had zero issues with them staying put. I'm just hoping they stay that way! All in all, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone--walker, jogger, runner, etc.
