I was surprised to see this item marked by Amazon as a "Frequently Returned Item." I'm not sure why—that hasn’t been my experience at all. This jar is beautiful and a great alternative if you love the look of Michael Aram but don’t want to spend $200–$300.It has that same elegant, artistic feel and is actually much easier to maintain. I own many Michael Aram pieces, and this one is by far simpler to keep clean. I especially love that the glass insert is removable—just take it out, wash it, and pop it back in. It looks brand new every time.Best of all, I’ve had it for a while now as a sugar jar, and neither the gold detailing nor the metal has tarnished. It’s held up beautifully to the abrasive nature of the sugar. I recommend this product.
