Mad that I bought this. Metal frame bent on the first attempt to fold it back up rendering it unusable. I didn't even force it. Once the metal is bent it loses tension and can't be bent back. The mount looks fine and I'll use that but the softbox had to be thrown away within 5 minutes of opening the box.

This is the simple tool that always works.Godox is creating a whole universe of photography products at reachable prices. This softbox is the perfect size ar 24". There are a slew of 20" boxes in all price ranges but this 24 is just right. A size that adds a good softness and remains portable. A V1or the Z2 can fill up this box and can really show off with any larger strobe.

I bought this for pet shooting as I wanted something smaller than 43In. I was really confused by all the contradicting reviews and questions, and here's what I found out through both using them for the first time and reading and re-reading everyone's comments.- The set, as is, works perfectly with a speedlight (read: flash). You do NOT need an adapter. as mentioned by some. I use Godox flashes and it all worked just fine. Because it was only a few days before I needed it I bought adapters anyway, just in case, but will now return them. I will gladly keep the softbox set, though, it is great.- When you need the adapter is when you're using a larger strobe.The various comments aren't wrong, but aren't entirely clear, either. One person posted photos of using a speedlight and how it works great. That was a huge help. Thank you to that person.While I love the product, I feel Godox totally dropped the ball with their documentation and instructions. Better instructions would have helped a l lot. I still give it five stars, though.
