Game changer to my photography! The power and brightness is super strong yet adjustable. Once you figure out which buttons are which itâs really easy to use. It is a bit heavy for me so keep that in mind you might want a tripod or an assistant. All-in-all itâs so worth the money.

Coming from old-school car-battery sized power packs with corded strobe heads to these has made these all the AD200âs all the more appreciated. Iâve got three of these and the big brother 600 W model. But these are so portable and versatile that I find they are all I need for a huge majority of location photo shoots from indoor and outdoor lifestyle to architectural. Goodbye wires, cords and weight forever.

Ich war schon immer ein AnhĂ€nger der mobilen Blitzfotografie und habe bisher mit Systemblitzen gearbeitet. Mir war dabei die MobilitĂ€t und das geringe Gewicht immer sehr wichtig. Und soetwas ist mit Blitzköpfen und Akkupacks schwerer zu realisieren als mit Systemblitzen.Als ich vor kurzen auf die neuen Blitze von Godox gestoĂen bin und auch sehr positive Rezessionen im Netz gefunden habe, wollte ich diesen Blitz einmal ausprobieren, da er doch ein paar Vorteile gegenĂŒber den Systemblitzen hat.Zum einen wĂ€re da der eingebaute FunkempfĂ€nger, der auch TTL fĂ€hig ist und ich daher nicht noch einen weiteren EmpfĂ€nger mitschleppen muss. Alles was ich benötige ist der Blitzauslöser fĂŒr die Kamera. Blitzauslöser und Blitz arbeiten zuverlĂ€ssig zusammen und sowohl TTL aus auch die manuellen Einstellmöglichkeiten funktionieren gut.TTL war ein weiterer Entscheidungsgrund. Ich arbeite zwar meist im M Modus, jedoch muss es manchmal schneller gehen und da ist TTL ein recht gutes Hilfsmittel. Ich empfand jedoch Fotos ohne Anpassung der Blitzkompensation zu hell. Ich habe daher am Auslöser bei TTL auf -1 gestellt, was fĂŒr mich ein ausgewogeneres Ergebniss liefert.Automatisches Umschalten zwischen normalen und HSS Sync funktioniert auch einwandfrei.Der gröĂte Vorteil fĂŒr mich ist jedoch die Möglichkeit den "Speedlight Kopf" mit der Blitzröhre zu tauschen. Ich verwende meistens die Blitzröhre, da hier einfach der Abstrahlwinkel des Lichts viel gröĂer ist und daher eine Softbox besser ausgeleuchtet wird. Und die hat mit den 200Ws fĂŒr meine Zwecke genug Power. Klar ein Auto oder eine gröĂere Gruppe kann man nicht ausleuchten, aber fĂŒr Portraits oder 1-2 Personen reicht das Licht allemal.Und - der Akku hĂ€lt richtig lange. Ich blitze selten mit voller Leistung und vor kurzem hatte ich ein 4 stĂŒndiges Shooting (Indoor) mit ĂŒber 600 Fotos und der Akku war noch halb voll.Der Blitz kam auch in einer netten Box, die gut aufgerĂ€umt ist. Was mir leider nicht gut gefĂ€llt ist, dass fĂŒr die Blitzröhre kein Schutz vorhanden ist. Ich habe sie immer im Adapter stecken und so in der Box liegen. Da ich fĂŒrchte, dass sie beschĂ€digt wird, habe ich mir noch eine SchutzhĂŒlle fĂŒr die Blitzröhre dazubestellt. Ich finde, die sollte bei so einem zerbrechlichen Teil eigentlich dabei sein.Fazit: ein wirklich guter und vor allem mobiler Blitz mit vielen Möglichkeiten und ausreichend Zubehör. Hier hat sich Godox wirklich Gedanken gemacht.

well... what can we say about Godox products in general... they have certainly come a long way in terms of reliability, functionality and innovation. The AD200 is certainly a gamechanger for event photographers like myself as the flash has both the fresnal head + strobe lamp. Picture quality is fantastic and the godox is very easy to use as it has a built in wireless receiver.After years of struggling with canon flashes + umbrellas this investment really changed my perception and capabilities. The AD200 offer HSS, TTL and 200w of power which is more than enough if you are shooting in lowlight or mid day sun... the AD200 offers around 500 shots on full 1/1 power and the refresh time is less than 1.5 seconds which is fantastic!!I was so impressed with the AD200 i actually went out and got the AD600 as well... the two have replaced my flashes and my photography is what the focus has become rather than the reliability of the hardware..Keep up the great work Godox!
