The Godox AD300Pro Outdoor Strobe Flash Light comes with not everything you need to get you going with this set up. You need accessories NOT supplied. For half a grand, you’d think they’d enough the basic accessories needed to set this up, but it lacks even a basic (special sized) reflector that you need to use with it. If you don’t, the light will flash back at you and to the camera.It shows a little reflector but you don’t get that. You get a metal protector that clearly isn’t designed to be used with this when in use. It does not use a standard Bowens mount; it uses their mounts. About the only thing extra you get is a little case for it.This is battery operated only. By that I mean, you can’t plug it into AC and use it. It needs to be charged first. To their credit, they do provide the battery. When that battery is down, you’re done for the day until you recharge or have additional batteries. These batteries aren’t cheap, either.It does come with a mount or bracket for a light stand that is poorly designed. I’ve enclosed a picture of it showing that in certain positions, the set knob can’t be tightened making it nearly useless. I have a couple of mounts that do work and probably will not use this one that they supplied.It would have helped if they’d linked to some of the accessories that you need rather than trying to hunt for them. But, they did not.For a flash, this is really expensive. For a supplying mount that was badly designed and not supplying a basic reflector to set it up, it’s too expensive. Doing basic research, I found other options equal to this for much less. I can’t see putting this kind of money into this when better options are available.

Love it. The AD300Pro is only a bit larger than the AD200Pro and much smaller than the AD400Pro. It is compact and powerful enough for my needs, versatile for a lot of different situations. The recycle time is nice and fast. The display screen is brighter compared to the AD200Pro. Also worth noting is that the AD300Pro battery is interchangeable with the AD200/AD200Pro battery.
