Works well in a variety of circumstances and locations. I do have to tweak the settings a lot, which is because it’s a manual flash, not TTL. Love the super easy to charge battery by the way. I’ve never really learned how to use one of these, so the learning curve is there. The flash quality is bar none one of the best if the camera can figure out how to work with it. As far as colour goes, my camera corrects any imperfections. I think it’s a bit on the cheaper side as far as flashes go that accomplish what it does with the features that it has. If it were to break, I might just go back to the TTL style though, as the constant composition for shots with it takes away from the scene sometimes. TTL is just easier.

This is probably your best affordable option in terms of a speed flash. Especially with a rechargeable battery. No more having to buy expensive double A batteries and needing to wonder if you have enough for your next photo session.This also works with any of godox wireless systems. I purchased the X2 with this. I also own an Ad600 pro and both this speed flash and the AD600 pair up with the X2 transmitter.

I took some great photos of my kids by testing out the product and it’s great for the price. The battery is a rechargeable pack which I’m happy with. The accessories are good to take advantage of with the product. I would recommend this product to anyone that’s trying to buy their first camera flash.

I have 3 of these and love them. I use them for location shooting when a studio light doesn't make sense. They are so cheap but you get so much for the money. The battery is phenomenal. That alone is worth the price. They sync extremely well and have a consistent burst. The exposure is only ever off by a fraction of a stop, but only when you are shooting in bursts. Excellent flash for the money. I will not likely buy another Canon flash again because these are so very good.
