I installed a few of these at a clients and they were greatly impressed. They are now able to stream 3 live HDMI video feeds and view any one of them in their 4 training rooms simply by selecting the channel number on the transmitter unit

As soon as I put this device on my network it caused all types of latency. I am in the process of moving it on its own switching because it literally hammers endless DNS requests and of course there is no option to change the DNS on their network settings. You could like they said cut it out and make a separate subnet but at this point I already have to run a cable to patch it in so I am going to isolate it to its own network. I bought this so I wouldn't have to run a separate cable and use a non managed switch. I could get another managed switch but at this point it's better off isolated from all the other traffic on its own. Save your money and buy something else.

I purchased three of theses about a year ago and they perform flawlessly. This design allows for multiple signals to be sent on the same CAT 6 line, not only one direction but both. My cable run is about 300 feet and I am able to send 2 HDMI signals down to my shop simultaneously and at the same time send an audio signal back to the house. I live in the country and I rock the whole yard with the same source. Was not exactly plug and play for my situation. I purchased a couple of economical TP Link managed network switches (which are necessary) and struggled to send multiple signals at the same time. Fixed the issue by disabling IGMP on the switches. Also had an issue sending just an audio signal. Apparently you need to send a video signal for the system to work. Solved the issue by purchasing cheep HDMI to RCA adapters (must have one HDMI to RCA and one RCA to HDMI), sent an HDMI signal and replaced the audio from the stereo.I also had a an issue with the IR signal, you must use the receiver and the blaster that comes with the unit for it to work. I had to mount the blaster and 2 feet away mount an IR extender receiver for it to work for my application.Note: There is a slight delay but it works just fine.Once I got it working there has been no flickering or any issues with the functionality. This is an awesome product and is the perfect solution sending multiple signals over a single cable.

Works great for a distributed AV setup. Using this to send one Comcast cable box to 3 other TVs. Using IR aimed at the RX box to control which TX it's set to, I can pick from multiple sources. Just wish it was POE instead of needing another wall-wort.

The lag on this device was very heavy. Did not work at all like advertised. We were unable to use as it was glitchy and slow and provided very poor video and sound quality.

I had purchased a much more expensive HDMI over twisted pair devices, and kept having failure issues. I was a little nervous about purchasing this, but it has worked solidly and has been in service for 16 months. No complaints.

Using to extend my security system display. IP Kit works great through my existing GB LAN, I did add managed switches and segregated the traffic to a separate VLAN, just to keep the traffic contained where it is actually needed, both VLANs share a single CAT5e trunk running at GB between the two switches without any noticeable performance issues in either VLAN. I had to reboot the transmitter this morning after leaving it on for 2 days, we will see if this becomes an issue. The remote response appears to be quick, less than a second to respond. I plan to add a second receiver for another display and possibly another transmitter for an additional source.

I think HDMI over IP is the best solution for video distribution I’ve seen in a long time and this does it with ease. If the video quality is degraded at all, it’s hard to tell. I haven’t checked it for latency since it’s used in places where that’s unnoticeable. We use these in our church for distribution to nursery, lobby & overflow rooms. I love that if I want to add another source in the future like tv broadcasts, DVD players, etc, all I have to do is add more transmitters. We took all our point to point cat5 to hdmi converters out, connected their lines into a gigabit switch and put receivers at the end points. Even our TVs on carts have them because they can plug-in to any Ethernet port in the building and tune into one of the sources. I liked this option over some of the others out there because I had the ability to change sources via buttons on the receivers or remote. Much simpler than changing in a network configuration page

Item works as described. We use two of these receivers and one transmitter on an isolated network to send video from the AV booth of a banquet hall to two 65inch displays in the front of the room. Signal passes through an unmanaged switch and 140' runs of Cat-6. Putting both receivers on the same channel duplicates the display sent through the transmitter.
