This is suppose to be 1 7/16” long which would have worked on my banjo. It’s not. It’s only 1 1/4” long. It won’t work. I’m returning it.

This was a good nut, I just wish it was slightly wider. This will fit only a standard sized banjo or narrower, nothing slightly wider, which is becoming more common. But the quality was good.

The description for this item is very wrong. This nut blank is NOT 7.4 inches long. It is an inch and a quarter and thus is useless to me as I wanted to make a custom nut width. I will be returning.
