Doesn't work right out of the box. Have tried numerous AAA batteries alkaline and lithium and this unit will not turn on at all.

Does not work without having to crack head up the batteries. I should have spent the extra $5 on a better one. I'm sure it doesn't read the correct temp. Well I don't trust it now. SPEND THE EXTRA $$ GET A GOOD ONE! NOT WORTH THE POSTAGE TO SEND BACK!

It is light weight plastic that might break if dropped, other than that I think it is worth the cheap price.

It took about two months to receive it . Finally got it in the mail, I put NEW batteries in it and it would not turn on. So yes i shook it a bit and finnaly turned on, so i figured it was the contacts for the batteries. I had to put some aluminum foil on the contacts. I give it one star because it works pretty good so far. But for the price, the lengthy time it took to receive and the repair i had to make . I would not buy this product again.
