Infrared Thermometer for Objects Surface

- This non-contact infrared thermometer is used for measuring the temperature of object's surface, especially for various hot, cold, hazardous or hard-to reach objects without contacting safely and quickly

Max/Min/EMS Adjustment

You can set it between 0.10 to 1.00 according to different stuff surface infrared radiate energy ability (you can refer to most common stuff emissivity on manual)
High and Low Temperature Alarm Values Settable
- Switch to Hi or Low mode and adjust the setting of high or low alarm values by pressing the keys of °C/°F and the positioning laser key
- When the measured temperature is greater than or less then the set value, the corresponding "Hi" or "Low" symbol displays, and you will hear the "BI BI" sound
Self Calibration between -5℉ ~ +5℉ ( -5°C ~ +5°C )
Under self calibration mode, you can calibrate the temperature between -5℉ ~ +5℉ ( -5°C ~ +5°C )
For Example, if the temperature is 96℉ and the temperature value measured is 92.4℉, then 3.6℉ should be increased as a calibration value,after calibration and press the mode key to return to the normal measuring mode
Multifunctional:
Mode Switch Key: press Mode key to switch modes in turn among: MAX---MIN---AT---EMS---CAL---HI---LOW---Measuring interface
- Max: Measuring maximum temperature
- Min: Measuring minimum temperature
- Note: In measuring, hold on the Mode key to switch to Max or Min review
- AT: measuring the current ambient temperature
- EMS: simple to adjust emissivity from 0.1 - 1.00
- CAL: customer can calibrate infrared laser thermometer between -5℉ ~ +5℉ ( -5°C ~ +5°C )
- Hi/Low: set the upper and lower limit of temperature, laser temp gun will issue "BI BI" sound when measured temperature lower or higher than your setting values

I have been using this for checking the cooking temperature. I don't have anything to benchmark it against on accuracy, but it seemed so far it did its job well.

It seems to be made well, and it's easy to use but the problem lies in not being able to get consistent readings, which makes me question It's accuracy. Then again, I'm measuring on quartz glass. It seems to read consistently on solid objects, maybe jumping between a few .4-10 degrees.

Does enough for the price point. Happy with purchase. Not great for any distance over 10 feet I'd say, probably because the dots spread out too much and you can't pin point something. But like I said, I'm happy with it and would buy again.

Gun works great. Has different modes and the optional scatter pattern infrared lights. The LED screens makes it feel high quality and it has automatically shutoff. Its simple and uses an triple A battery that comes with ith.
