Used with a Sun Setter awning on deck to block sun. Works well for that usage. Only problem is there isn't enough grommets on the top of screen to hold it in place when wind blows. A grommet in each end of screen with cords to hold it doesn't hold. Screen slides down top rail of awning, when wind blows. Had to buy a grommet kit at hard ware store to solve problem. Blocks sun well, can see out thru screen from inside, does give some privacy from outside. Of course couldn't stake it to ground, tied it at bottom to deck rail. Bought a second one . One to block morning sun, one to block evening sun.

Was exactly what I was looking for. You have some privacy but can still see thru it. And it keeps the sun and bugs from chasing you inside.

In the picture it shows that it is slanted but when I received the screen it was straight across so it didn't hang right I had to return it
