I ordered the coconut brown PU leather foldover strip (a rich dark brown color). It is as described in dimensions (about 5m in length, 20mm wide, and 1mm thick). The PU leather is soft to the touch and the color is common enough to match a wide range of bags, totes, etc. that you may already own, or could be used for contrast. The item description states that the texture resembles real lambskin and I find this accurate. It has a soft feel and is pliable like leather. It's difficult to tell from real leather. There are several colors and widths available. The backside is folded down the middle and glued flat. I tried peeling it up on one end and it did not peel easily, so it seems durable and of good quality. It's thin enough at 1mm to allow for easy hand or machine stitching. I'm not sure yet what project I will use it on. But I am happy with the item.

This 5 mm synthetic leather binding has a nice texture and feel. The color is true to the picture in the listing (at least on my screen). It would be great as a drawstring on a pouch or as a braided key fob. You can fold it over along the seam, but being so thin, it is a lot easier to fold it with the seam on the outside. You can also split it down the seam for braiding (you may want to scorch the cut edge). I was hoping it would open like folded bias tape, but it does not. The inner surfaces are fused together.
