These offsets do not screw into standard plumbing. 1/2 turn and then no further.

I will say the descriptions said 1/2” male thread. I assumed it was NPT but I was incorrect. I attached a pic with a 1/2” NPT nipple next to it to show that it is straight thread. Keep this in mind before your purchase.

I purchased the 2.5 inch size. The product description says one end is G: 3/4" and the other end is 1/2" NPT. It is NOT 1/2" NPT, it is 1/2" IPS. The threads are straight so it won't install in my situation where I am connecting to NPT, tapered threads. The parts look to be good quality, well packaged, and 2 sets of rubber gaskets so probably a good choice if you are not trying to connect to NPT fittings.

These were needed...two if three that came with shower kit were garbage with bad threads, had to order these adapters to get everything connected
