People who are giving this hat less than 5 stars are incorrect. Definitely the best internet purchase i have made.Yes, there are not a ton of instructions on how to program. But it is not hard to figure out. Buy this. You will get a ton of responses from anyone you see.

This hat is a lot of fun, and a definite conversation starter! It’s not necessarily the most comfortable hat, but great for a fun thing to wear to a party or event. I found the app to be easy to use and it comes with many pre-programmed symbols and different options for text.

This is a very cute novelty LED hat. As far as functionality, it seems to behave exactly as advertised. it connected to the app right away, and lets you input text or show symbols. it's not exactly HD but that doesn't matter for what you need to do. I like that you can control the speed and spacing in text. I will say it's not the most comfortable hat. If it had a higher quality mesh that wasn't so rigid, it would be a 5 star, but the comfort leaves a bit to be desired. Still, overall great for parties and such.

This is a very cool and funky hat that you can wear and make yourself even more attractive. No assembly or anything needed, comes with a pair of additional battery. The battery is neatly hidden inside and nobody can see it. You should download an app using the QR code given which is compatible on both Android and IOS. Once downloaded and installed, connects seamlessly to the hat and then the magic begins - you can literally customize like you wish. So many characters and texts, the possibilities are endless.

This is a really cool hat, it is definitely worth the cost, and I really enjoy it. I almost felt bad giving it four out of five stars it's so cool. I'm very impressed by the wide selections of displays, texts, emojis, and the customization option. I do think you know what you're getting when you buy a novelty hat, so maybe my dislikes aren't all that serious.The reason it only got four stars from me: I do not like how nothing in the instructions, the app, or on the battery tells you how much battery life is left or how long this thing takes to charge. They do include an extra battery which is a nice touch. But I have no idea what the battery life is on this thing. I just gotta let it charge for a while and take it for a spin out on the town and see how long it lasts I suppose.I do think it's a really cool hat and it adds fun to life.Edit: I bumped it up to five stars. The battery pack light turns green when it's charged and even though I still don't know how long it has yet, the green LED as a positive for it being fully charged and the extra battery is a really nice touch.

OMG, my kids loved this at school. This came just in time for Valentines Day and the kids went crazy for it. Throughout the day, I would change the design out of the blue and the kids were super excited to see the next design displayed.I fully charged the hat last night and the battery lasted approx. 6 hours of continuous running.You must download an app to your phone to upload the desired design to the hat. There are many options to choose from. What is even better, you can design your own display and upload it to the hat as well. The LED lights are bright and colorful. Even when the battery is low, the colors stay vibrant.Fit my head perfectly, even with a pony tail. The back strap is adjustable and I used the first three pegs on the hat strap and the fit was great.Charges via USB cable which is included.Highly recommend and super fun!

Such a cool hat! The app is seamless and easy to install and use. The hat is super cool I wear it to the club all the time and get lots of comments. I've also used it at work as I'm a bouncer and I make the hat say security and it draws people attention. Really helps them get out my way when I'm walking.
