Pretty happy with these. They record a lot of useful information. I have been using these to track, tempature and humidity in my seed growing room, in my outdoor plastic greenhouse and a small raised bed greenhouse I made. I really like that it have alarms for low and high temperature. I am not sure about the distance away you can be, especially through walls.

Not the easiest to pair to the app and really seems to need a Bluetooth to Wifi gateway to work consistently, which I had to purchase explicitly for this need. I prefer the Tuya app for any of these smart devices and have not been able to figure out pairing this in Tuya yet, even though a search online says this should work and was a significant factor in my selecting this for my humidity and temperature sensing needs.

So far, so good. Got this set to pair w/ another Govee Home set ASIN: B09BVLP9C5 to ensure WiFi connectivity & remote access to sensors. This provides me (6) sensors in total.They all paired easily to my phone & easily to the Govee Home Gateway that came in the set referenced above.I was skeptical about their accuracy & consistency based on other reviews, but this turned out to be a non-issue for me.As depicted in the attached picture, all Govee Home sensors are reading within .36 Degrees F. of each other. This is w/ all sensors in close proximity on a table to ensure the same environmental conditions.Relative Humidity was a bit less consistent w/ the sensors ranging from 42.7% RH to 44% RH.Both Temperature & RH averages for these sensors were still spot-on compared to my AirThings & "Ambient Weather" brand sensors which were also close by for comparison.Full disclosure, I cannot yet speak to their full range w/ the Govee Home gateway, as I have not yet placed them all @ their final destinations throughout my home's basement & attic. But based on their temporary placement, I've had no connectivity issues so far.The only "downfall" I see w/ these so far is that these appear to be for INDOOR USE ONLY. It'd be nice if I could also place these outside, exposed to rain, snow, etc. But, I was fully aware of this limitation before ordering, as the instructions & listing only promotes indoor locations.I would definitely recommend & would purchase again.

As a longtime user of Govee's smart home products, particularly their outdoor lighting, I had high expectations for these hygrometers. And they didn't disappoint. I live in a two-story house - I got these sensors to monitor heat and humidity levels in the the bedrooms and the indoor garden.What's in the box:--3 Hygrometers--6 AA batteries (already installed)--3 lanyards--User ManualSetup was a breeze once I figured out the process. The Govee app detected all three units instantly, with no issues. The instructions were a little unclear so here's what to do: pull the white tab from the battery compartment, then pull the back off, because the app will ask you to press the button inside during pairing. I recommend labeling each sensor in the app (e.g., #1, #2, or by room name) so you don’t end up with 3 identical "Smart Thermometer" devices in the app. I also recommend installing the optional lanyards at this time because it is MUCH easier.To test accuracy, I placed one next to my humidifier, and the humidity reading jumped by 20% immediately, confirming it works as expected! You can check real-time data right in the app.These sensors operate via Bluetooth, but if you want remote access outside of Bluetooth range, I believe you can pair them with a Govee hub for Wi-Fi connectivity. Overall, this is another solid Govee product. 5 stars.

I use a number of Govee model sensors around the house and workshop that I've bought over the years, and these are by far the smallest I've found. There are definitely benefits to not having built-in displays when it comes to both size and battery life. These appealed to me for both of those reasons, in addition to the low price. Thanks to the long life between battery changes, I'll be able to deploy these to less accessible areas of my home like the attic where I've long wanted to be able to monitor both temperature and humidity. Thanks to the small size, I'll be able to locate a couple of these in areas where the accessible opening is quite small, without having to cut open a wall or floor. Those attributes make for a lot of flexibility when it comes to their functionality. And, the app means that reading them will be easy. Govee says their sensors are of Swiss origin. Based on the consistent performance and how closely they track to more expensive instruments of known accuracy, I'm inclined to believe that claim... the accuracy on these is impressive for their cost. All in, the functionality packed into such small footprints represents an excellent value, especially when compared to the kind of spending that used to be required for very custom systems in order to get the same level of performance.

Love these little things! I thought It’d calibrate them but they’re within 4%. Good enough! It’s nice to be able to check both humidors and the wine racks from anywhere in the house.
